Part 103 eligibility
Manufacturer markets Dream Classic as an FAA-legal / FAR Part 103 ultralight (home page and product page). This record uses the Speed wing table only (empty 223 lb; span 21'6"; cruise 68 mph; top speed 76 mph; stall 31 mph; useful load 170 lb). Eligibility flags: manufacturer-listed top speed 76 mph and cruise 68 mph exceed the typical Part 103 maximum level-flight speed (~55 knots / ~63 mph); stall 31 mph also exceeds the typical Part 103 power-off stall limit (~24 knots / ~28 mph). Finished-aircraft compliance is therefore uncertain despite overall Dream Classic Part 103 marketing — actual eligibility depends on the finished aircraft meeting 14 CFR Part 103 limits (not independently verified here). Separate from Dream Classic Standard wing (already approved) and from Dream Fantasy (two-place).
